Established in 1983, Affetside Choir is a community choir open to adults who enjoy singing both with others and to others. We do not audition and no previous experience is necessary to join. We are a group of people who just love to sing together.
We sing music from all genres, including modern and traditional. We are led by a musical director and accompanied by a pianist.
Concerts include residential homes and care homes, weddings, civic events, charitable concerts, and joint concerts with other bands and choirs. We also raise money for local and national charities. Bookings for the choir can be made via our contact page.
The choir meets in term time only on Monday evenings at Bolton Road Methodist Church, Bury, from 7.30pm until 9.30pm. Everyone is welcome to come along.
We are a registered charity and charge a small termly fee.
